Serving as a senior counselor at Summer’s Best Two Weeks is a fantastic opportunity to make a transformational impact in the lives of children (and in your own life too!) It’s a chance for service and for growth in your own skills and relationship with God, with campers, and with your fellow counselors. Senior Counselors are generally responsible for modeling Christ-like character, leading a particular squad of campers, teaching various skill activities, coaching and refereeing competitions, and leading daily small group Bible studies with campers. Senior counselors also have the opportunity to connect deeply with their fellow counselors through regular fellowship times and counselor Bible study and to receive mentoring and teaching from the SB2W leadership and other pastors in the Tidewater Presbytery to help you grow in your relationship with God and understanding of God’s particular calling for your life.
